IT Kompetenz – new player in ALVARA | Digital Solutions

Hamburg 06/29/20. With retroactive effect from January 1st, 2020, ALVARA Holding GmbH, one of the leading European software providers for the secure cash cycle, has taken over IT Kompetenz Gesellschaft für innovative Informationstechnologie mbH (IT Kompetenz). This opens up new growth prospects for us.

Under the umbrella of the brand ALVARA | Digital Solutions IT Kompetenz strengthens the software specialists for cash management ALVARA Cash Management Group AG, SAFELOGY SAS as well as MLSA SAS, which has meanwhile merged with SAFELOGY. As a result of the merger, ALVARA | Digital Solutions becomes European market leader for software solutions in cash management. This enables us to serve all players in the cash cycle – retailers, CITs and financial institutions – from a single source. Together we expand our range of products and services, combine our expertise and invest in innovations.

Matthias Schick and Thomas Vietze, the previous owners of IT Kompetenz, will continue to be responsible for the company’s operational business from Hamburg and will have a minority stake in the ALVARA Holding GmbH. In the course of the transaction, Thomas Vietze will be appointed second member of the board of ALVARA Cash Management Group AG and co-managing director of ALVARA Holding GmbH.

IT Kompetenz GmbH will continue to appear with its own company name and its usual appearance. The existing contracts between the company and its customers continue to run seamlessly. The contact persons (including function + contact details) also remain the same.
